On Saturday Dan Lightner our Sr. Network Engineer spoke at a community event supporting childhood cancer. Daniel has a 3 year old son with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia who was diagnosed at MUSC on January 20th 2010. Daniel and his family, along with the Kotori Technologies team does all they can to support these amazing little warriors fighting this horrible disease. Kotori Technologies is proud to have team members that are willing to give back to the community. The event was held in North Charleston where several motorcyclist from all over South Carolina joined together to hear Austin Lightners story along with other heart breaking stories in effort to raise money for a local organization. Together the event raised over $1,100 for an amazing local organization by the name of CourageousKidz.

Meet Daniel Lightner

Kotori Technologies is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel Lightner to our staff. Daniel is our newest Service Engineer. Daniel has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. Daniel will be responsible for the evaluation, troubleshooting, and repairing computer and network related issues to reduce the overall downtime for Kotori clients while maintain a proper service level.

Prior to his new position, Daniel has been Senior Network Administrator for Berchtold Corporation, Network Technician for eSystems, and Network Support Analyst for Provion.

Daniel lives in Summerville with his wife Holly, and two sons Austin and Evan. He enjoys golfing, relaxing with family, and being a solo pilot.
