Virtualization Implementation & Support
Computer servers are the backbone of any computer network and host all the critical files and software needed by the other computers on the network. Servers are usually high-end machines with a lot of processing power and memory. Often, they are dedicated to performing one specific task on the network, making it easier to track down and isolate a problem if a particular service is not functioning. However, this plan has some downsides. One is that this plan does not take full advantage of the high processing power that modern computers have available. Another is that, if a lot of servers are put into a network, they require a lot of space. A lot of these servers within a certain area can cause a lot of heat to be generated and can consume unnecessary power. Server virtualization can be a solution to both of these problems. |
