Challenge:
The client was spending over $3500.00 in credit card processing fees per month and was processing credit cards by hand using a dialup connection to the merchant service provider. The customer service reps had to get up from their stations in order to process credit card orders. 85% of their clients process their orders using a credit card. In store customers, also had to be processed using this method. EISS was also spending over $1500.00 per month in telecom expenses with broadband and long distance charges. Their sales people were having issues connecting to their offices VPN for order placement due to the slow bandwidth.
Solution:
Kotori Technologies, LLC transferred EISS over to a different merchant service provider that allowed for a secured manageable database for customer's credit card information with lower non-swiped fees and installed processing software on the workstations of the customer service reps.
Kotori Technologies, LLC also transferred the client over to a new service as the telecom provider that would give them faster speeds and more reliable internet service.
Results:
By moving the client to a different credit card processor, Kotori Technologies, LLC reduced the client's merchant service fees by $550.00 per month. By installing a credit card processing software application on each desktop, this allowed the customer service reps to process credit cards instantly. This in turn improved call volume statistics that allowed the customer service reps to handle more calls than they did before.
Moving to the new service plan saved EISS over $700.00 per month in telecom and data charges. This also improved the VPN connection of the sales staff to the main office for increased order efficiencies.
